TODAY'S MENU

Lettuce Wraps

topped with Veggies and more

Lettuce wraps originated in China, they've since migrated throughout Southeast Asia, and they're especially popular in Laos and Thailand. Which brings us to Larb, an uber-popular meat salad from Laos and Thailand, and my personal favorite variety of lettuce wrap filler

TIP #1

Todays recipe:

Marinade:

1 pd Ground Chicken or Turkey

1 tbsp Low-sodium Soy Sauce

1 tbsp Rice Vinegar

1 Tbsp Sesame Oil

For Sauce:

5 Tbsp Low Soy Sauce

2 Tbsp Rice Vinegar

2 tsp Sugar or Brown Sugar or Honey

2 tsp Sesame Oil

2 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce

1 tsp cornstarch

butter lettuce leaves when making ground chicken lettuce wraps as they’re more flexible than iceberg lettuce or romaine and hold much more filling.

Asian Peanut Dressing:

3 tbsp Chunky Peanut Butter

1/2 cup Soy Sauce

2 tbsp Sesame Oil

3 tbsp Water

2 tbsp Brown Sugar

Mix everything and add where needed
